We have eight lake shore cabins and a private duplex cabin. All cabins sleep up to six and have kitchenettes, showers, BBQs, flatscreen TVs and satellite cable. Cabins are open year round.

Events

Our resort is home to the Kikino Silver Birch Rodeo & Celebration Days, held this year on August 16-19, 2012.

This event is now in its 23rd year and has established itself as one of the premier venues in northern Alberta. Our amateur Rodeo is one of the largest and best in the North and we are proud to say that it gets better every year!

Over the years, we have grown from being a largely community event to being a major ‘must see’ experience for many Albertans. We are very proud to welcome over 10,000 people through our gates each August; many of whom are return visitors and tourists from neighboring provinces who come back every year.  Visit our Rodeo page for more details.

About Us

Kikino Silver Birch Resort and Campground is a naturally stunning resort located just half an hour south of Lac La Biche, on the Kikino Metis Settlement. Campsites and cabins line the shore of Whitefish Lake and the property features hiking and horseback riding trails, conference centre, a picnic area and playground, clean washrooms, coin operated showers, a confectionery and gas store, and 24/7 security.
